LMH Travel is a minibus company in SE1. We run 8, 12, 14 and 16-seat minibuses and mini coaches, always with a driver, for groups travelling to and from anywhere in London.
Why we're based in Southwark
A lot of this job comes down to the distance to the first pickup. From Bear Lane we can be in the City in minutes and at Canary Wharf in about twenty. The main roads south start close by, the A2 and A23 among them. Being central means fewer empty miles before a job starts, and less that can go wrong on the way to you.
How we run a booking
Every job starts with the same questions. Who's travelling, with what, from where and by when. A Gatwick run for a family of eight with skis is a different job from a birthday night out for eight in Clapham, even though the seat count matches.
Once we know that, we pick the vehicle and plan the route for the slowest realistic version of the day. Then we put the price in writing. Plans move after that, and that's normal. We'd rather hear about a change early than at the kerb.
Drivers get the full details before they set off, including your contact number and any notes about access or luggage.
Things we'll tell you straight
If your group won't fit with its luggage, we'll say so and suggest the next size up. If a venue won't let minibuses stop at the door, we'll tell you where the driver can stop instead.
And if a pickup time looks too tight for a flight, we'll push back. Missing a check-in costs you far more than an extra half-hour sitting in the terminal.
Charges after the trip only happen when the plan changed on the day, such as extra waiting time or an added stop.
How LMH Travel is licensed and insured
Minibus work in London is regulated. Vehicles with up to eight passenger seats are licensed for private hire by Transport for London. Larger vehicles carrying paying passengers need a public service vehicle operator's licence from the Traffic Commissioner.
Schools, charities and companies often need copies of these for their own risk assessments. Ask when you book.
