Stag do minibus hire London groups book, and hen dos too

Activity days out of town, nights out in London and early flights to Europe, with one vehicle and one driver keeping the group together.

The best man has a spreadsheet, a group chat with nineteen people in it, and an activity booked in Surrey at ten. By nine, four people are still asleep in Clapham. Stag do minibus hire London groups book with us won't wake them up, but it will collect them, get everyone to the activity on time and bring the whole group back into town for the evening. Hen dos work the same way, with a different plan for the day.

What a stag or hen day usually looks like

Most stag and hen days follow a shape. An activity during the day, a meal in the early evening, and a night out to finish. Sometimes the activity is in London, like axe throwing in Shoreditch, a cocktail class in Covent Garden or a boat on the Thames. Often it's out of town, where there's room for paintball, clay shooting or karting.

Sport is a common theme too. Watching a big match together, a day at the races, or a round of golf at a course outside London, with the evening in town afterwards.

The transport has to link it all. Pickups in the morning, a drive to the activity, a wait, a drive back for dinner, and the final drop-offs at the end of the night. One vehicle and one driver can cover the whole day, which is far simpler than organising separate trips for each part.

Stag do minibus hire London weekends with activities out of town

Paintball, clay shooting, quad biking and karting tend to be outside London, in Surrey, Kent, Essex and Hertfordshire. Most are an hour or so from central London, sometimes less if the group is starting from the right side of the city. Tell us the venue and the start time, and we'll work out the pickup.

Golf days are a stag staple. A course in Surrey, Kent or Hertfordshire with a tee time at nine, clubs in the back, and the group back in London by early evening. Tell us the number of bags so the vehicle has room for them.

For activities on farms or in the countryside, the last mile is often a narrow lane or a muddy track. We'll check the route and where the vehicle can wait. If there are no facilities on site, the driver will usually head somewhere nearby and come back for the finish.

Muddy activities bring their own problem. Paintball overalls and quad biking leave people filthy. Ask the venue about changing facilities, and bring bags for muddy clothes.

Hen dos and daytime plans

Hen dos often lean towards the daytime. Afternoon tea in a West End hotel. A spa day. A dance class, a cocktail-making session or a boat trip on the Thames. Then dinner and drinks somewhere lively in the evening.

For these, the timings are usually tighter. Afternoon tea slots are fixed, and a spa that runs late can make the group late for dinner. We'll plan the day with buffers, and the driver will keep track of the schedule so the organiser doesn't have to.

Joint stag and hen days are increasingly common, with both groups doing an activity together before splitting for the evening. Two vehicles can make that easy, one for each group after dinner.

Photos at the pickup take longer than anyone expects. Build ten minutes in, especially if there are matching outfits involved.

Flights out for a weekend abroad

Plenty of stag and hen groups now go abroad for the weekend. Prague, Krakow, Amsterdam, Barcelona and the Algarve are popular, mostly from Stansted and Luton, often on early Friday flights.

For those, we'll collect the group at whatever time the flight needs, with room for weekend bags, and bring everyone back on the Sunday or Monday. Give us both flight numbers when you book. The return pickup will be planned around the landing time and the inevitable slow passport queue on a Sunday night.

Long weekends often start on a Thursday night, with a late flight out after work. Those pickups are usually from offices or a central meeting point rather than homes, so give us the address and the time everyone can realistically leave.

Fancy dress is fine on the minibus. It's less fine at airport security, so plan accordingly.

Rules that keep the booking intact

Stag and hen groups are some of the best fun we carry, and most never come near the rules. They're there anyway because the driver is responsible for everyone on board.

Seat belts stay on when the vehicle is moving. Nothing goes out of the windows. If the driver thinks it's no longer safe to carry on, they can stop.

Planning the timings

Activity times are usually fixed, so we work backwards from them. A 10am paintball session in Kent with a pickup in Clapham means leaving by about 8:30, allowing for Saturday traffic on the A2 or A20. Back into London for dinner at 7 means leaving the venue by 5. Allow for lunch too, either at the venue or on the way, because a hungry group at four in the afternoon is not a happy one.

At the end of the night, the drop-off plan matters. If the group is staying in a hotel, it's simple. If everyone's going home to different parts of London, send us the addresses so the driver can plan the route. Central drop points can save time for big groups.

Questions people ask

Can we wear fancy dress on the minibus?

Yes, within reason. Anything that blocks the aisle, the driver's view or a seat belt needs to come off while the vehicle is moving.

Can you take us to Stansted for a 6am flight and collect us on the Monday?

Yes. Give us both flight numbers when you book, and we'll plan the early pickup and the return around the landing time.

Can the stag or bride be collected separately as a surprise?

Yes. We can add a separate pickup for the stag or bride, timed so the rest of the group is already on board when they get in.
