Minibus hire Fulham for match days, weddings and Heathrow

Match days at Stamford Bridge and Craven Cottage, weddings at Fulham Palace and Heathrow runs, planned around the Fulham Road on game days.

Fulham has two Premier League-sized crowds within a mile and a half of each other. Stamford Bridge, Chelsea's home on the Fulham Road, and Craven Cottage, Fulham's ground by the river. On a weekend when both are at home, the area fills with supporters from morning to evening. Minibus hire Fulham groups book is often about those days, with supporters' clubs and hospitality groups, but also weddings at Fulham Palace, birthday nights out and Heathrow runs.

From our base in SE1, Fulham is about thirty to forty minutes outside the rush hour, along the Embankment and the King's Road.

Minibus hire Fulham for match days

Stamford Bridge holds around forty thousand, and on match days the Fulham Road and the roads around it close or fill for hours. Craven Cottage, by the river near Putney Bridge, has a smaller crowd but narrow roads that fill quickly. Fulham Broadway station sits right by Stamford Bridge, so it's packed before and after the game, and a minibus avoids the queues.

Supporters' groups book us to get to the game together, often from outside London or from pubs elsewhere in the city. Hospitality groups want the vehicle to wait. Stag and birthday groups often combine the game with lunch beforehand in a pub on the Fulham Road or around Parsons Green, and the driver can collect from there. We'll confirm the drop-off area and the meeting point for the return before the day.

The rebuilt Riverside Stand at Craven Cottage has added hospitality space by the river, and hospitality guests often want an earlier drop-off before the game. On non-match days, the stadium tour at Stamford Bridge draws groups too.

Weddings at Fulham Palace

Fulham Palace, for centuries the country home of the Bishops of London, sits in its own gardens by the river and hosts weddings and receptions. Couples also marry at churches across Fulham and at venues along the river.

A minibus running between the church and the palace keeps wedding guests in one group. Fulham Palace has its own arrangements for vehicles, and we'll agree them with the venue beforehand.

The palace's walled garden is open to visitors, and garden groups come outside wedding season too. Chelsea Harbour, on Fulham's eastern edge, has a hotel and a marina where some couples hold their receptions.

Nights out on the Fulham Road and Parsons Green

The Fulham Road, the New King's Road and the streets around Parsons Green have restaurants, bars and pubs that draw groups for birthdays and nights out. Fulham Broadway has a shopping centre and more bars. Parsons Green has a green at its centre with pubs around it, and summer evenings there draw large groups.

For a night out, we'll agree a pickup point a short walk from the venue, and plan the drop-offs at the end of the night. If the group is splitting between Fulham, Putney and Wandsworth at the end, we'll work out the order so nobody sits in the back for longer than they need to.

Heathrow and the river

Heathrow is about thirty-five to forty-five minutes from Fulham outside the rush hour, via the A4 and the M4. Gatwick is about an hour to an hour and a quarter, via the A3 or across Wandsworth Bridge and down the A24. London City Airport is about forty-five minutes to an hour.

Putney Bridge and Wandsworth Bridge cross the river to the south. Both can be slow at peak times.

Many Fulham streets are long Victorian terraces with parking on both sides, so a larger minibus may need to stop at a junction for luggage. We'll check the address when you book.

Schools, clubs and the Hurlingham

Fulham has a lot of schools, and they book us for trips, fixtures and days out. The Hurlingham Club, a private members' club by the river, hosts sports events and functions. Bishop's Park, next to Craven Cottage and Fulham Palace, is used for local sport and school outings. The museums in South Kensington are a short run from here, about fifteen to twenty minutes outside the rush hour, which makes them an easy school trip.

Charing Cross Hospital, on the Fulham Palace Road, is the area's main hospital, and staff book us for team events. Eel Brook Common and South Park host local sport, summer fun days and school sports days, and a minibus suits a team with kit.

Football weekends

The thing to know about minibus hire Fulham residents book on football weekends is that a home match at either ground can slow the whole area for hours. If both are at home on the same day, it's slower still. Tell us the date when you book, and we'll check the fixtures and plan the route around them. When Putney Bridge is blocked by match traffic, Wandsworth Bridge is usually the way round.
